Finding bugs in event-driven embedded applications can be daunting, especially if the application makes liberal use of nested interrupts. This session will focus on how to find and eradicate some of the more challenging defects using the ARM CoreSight Embedded Trace Macrocell (ETM). Specifically, this session will focus on diagnosing hard faults, addressing protocol timing issues, improving application throughput, and identifying functions that consume excessive stack and heap. In addition to identifying these issues, we will also cover potential solutions to eradicate such defects.

Attendees will have a better understanding of how they can utilize ARM CoreSight ETM trace in debugging issues that are often difficult and time-consuming to isolate.
