Script files automate the use of FPGA simulation and synthesis tools. Knowledge of the tool set-up is captured, saving time during the development and maintenance phases of a project. This class presents practical TCL scripting techniques and examples suitable for immediate use on attendees projects.

The attendee will leave with a starting set of Tool Control language (TCL) scripts that efficiently drive logic simulation tools. These are a suitable starting point for modification to the attendees future projects.
